The BioTint concept, born after a few years of research and with the aim of creating an alternative to the market, a new garment dyeing technology, 100% organic and sustainable, 100% made in Portugal, and is based on the gathering of organic waste from roots, seed extracts or leaves from local producers, then its proceed with an extraction of the dye, for later dyeing in a finished garment.

This dyeing process is certified by SGS as 100% natural and organic.

In order to guarantee the dying quality control and its sustainable philosophy, Minority Denim is available to carry out productions in its facilities.

BioTint’s assumption is to generate a circular economy, that is, organic matter is collected that would otherwise go to waste, attributing a value to the producer.

Then all the residues originating from the dyeing go into a compost, which will serve to fertilize the land.

Currently, the company has managed to develop fourteen colors through organic materials, such as coffee and onions, where the company has partnerships with local producers; eucalyptus leaves, which Minoriy Denim’s own team collects from the woods; the wallnut and the beech, where there are partnerships with local carpenters who provide us with the leftover wood that they would throw in the trash; among others.
